We are looking for an experienced Care Coordinator with excellent organisational and Communication skills and the ability to work in a busy, but very friendly office.

The Office is based in Farnbourgh but you will be responsible for rostering calls for Berkshire and Surrey

As a Care Coordinator your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Completing and distributing staff rotas in a timely manner
  • Ensuring consistency of care staff
  • Ensuring that the care service is delivered to Service Users at the times and for the duration specified in the individual agreements
  • Allocating appropriate travel time
  • Rostering care staff for training
  • Working in conjunction with recruitment to determine critical staffing areas
  • Running reports for finance
  • Managing staff annual leave
  • Liaising with social care professionals
  • Participating in On Call duties
  • Management and supervision of the field care staff

Because on occasions you may visit clients in the community and/or you will cover calls, you must hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Position Requirement

  • Minimum of three years care experience in a domiciliary setting
  • Minimum of 1 year experience office environment
  • Proficient use of IT systems
  • Effective communication skills
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Use of Electronic rostering system , Preferably Quikplan but full training provided
  • Able to work under pressure and keep a clear head
  • Able to efficiently delegate tasks to others but ensure that the work is completed
  • Able to work independently as well as being a team player
  • Ability to work to timescales and deadlines
  • Support the branch in developing your area alongside the operation and referral manger
